Sensible endochrinologist?

I wondered, is there a sensible endo out there in the UK who listens to patients, doesn't treat them all the same, and gives them the correct dose? My GP is good at listening but his hands are tied by the endo of course but he's promised to refer me to someone who is good. Surely there must be someone even if I have to go privately.

Just be careful if you go privately. I did that and got a really bad one at Hammersmith. Since June of last year with scans, ultrasound and blood tests, and a visit to an endocrine surgeon and most recently another endocrinologist, it has cost me over £6000 and am still no further forward.
