I have hashimoto and graves disease. Last TSH was 5.7 and Free 4 was .58 im taking only 5 mg of Methimazole once a day. I've been getting like blister on my gum and gum swollen it hurts, today I spit blood from the gums. I called to see if specialist would call me back but was told it was not an emergency so she would not call me back. Oh and I'm just taking a quarter of heart medicine of bystolic beta blocker for running heart. Been feeling weak, I know I'm anemia but my medical doctor said I should not take any iron pills or anything since I'm being treated by a Specialist for my thyroid. Any comments greatly appreciated.

If you have iron anaemia it needs treating with iron in addition to the treatment you have for hyperthyroidism. I should see a dentist as it sounds as though you may have a gum infection.
