I saw a diagram of the ear, showing the facial nerve. Apart from going a good way to explain an unanswered question, it surprised me. Does anyone know more?

The Facial nerve is in your ear?
Scruffycat,
Google will probably tell you more.
I have a facial tick caused by the nerve that runs through the ear and the bone just below the ear. In the USA I gather they operate and make the hole in the bone bigger as this is where the nerve gets trapped and causes the tick. Here, they just give me Botox to help slow down the tick. I can actually hear the tick going in one ear, flick, flick, flick. It is worse at night. Such fun! If we meet, I am not really winking at you!
looks as if, in England if you need anything facial nerve related you'll be out of luck. The phrase "black hole" springs to mind.
Oh no. Don't say Tefal had a point. Maybe, he was just trying to make a point. It appears that nerve problems remain an area where expertise is hard to find.
