latest bloods after taking extra 12.5mg t3 daily with 200mcg T4

tsh 0.03 from 1.5

t4 28.6 from 24.9?

didn't test T3 - what does that mean?

juliarees82 Without reference ranges nobody can answer your question. And if you are taking T3 you really need your FT3 testing as advised in previous posts, because you wont know whether it is effective, if you're taking too little, too much, or what. It looks very much like your FT4 will be over range though.

Generally, when adding T3 in any form then TSH will be suppressed and FT4 usually lower in range. However, my latest test on 150 Levo and 12.5 T3 shows results very similar to yours although I did have my FT3 tested as well so I know where that lies.

Did you reduce your Levo when you added the T3?

Means they know nothing about thyroid.

Did you start taking T3 because you couldn't convert the T4? Did you not reduce your T4 dose when you added in the T3? Because that FT4 is very high. You are maybe taking too much.

That said, those labs don't tell you anything of interest. The FT3 is the only one that counts when you're taking T3.
