Hi I eat these but in moderation and do not forget when cooked are OK in small amounts.

Ummm... Do you know why they should be cooked? I think there's a bit of confusion here.
Broccoli - but not cauliflower - are what are called goitrogens. They block the uptake of iodine by the thyroid gland, so that the gland makes less hormone. This is a problem for undiagnosed/under-treated hypos. Not hyper people. In fact, it might be good for those with hyper.
Cooking them is supposed to remove the goitrogenic properties - but it doesn't always!

I eat broccoli and cauliflower as long as they are cooked. Personally I think you need to weigh up the nutritional benefits. I probably have them twice a week which I find ok.
I was thinking the same as you about nutritional value,will make sure I don't over eat these, no problem with uncooked don't do that anyway.
