Ear noise might be tinnitus, this can be associated with low b12. Have you had b12, folate, ferritin and Vit D levels tested?

Any recent thyroid test results?

I've had that feeling before like there's a tiny moth or something flapping away right inside my ear .. Very unnerving! I'm on 125 Levo but my doctor said its unrelated and it's just tiny muscle spasm and it's nothing to worry about 😊

I had ear noise that was driving me nuts some years ago. I was convinced I had an insect in one of my ears. In the end it turned out I had a small lump of loose wax that would move intermittently and it felt like a fly was moving and buzzing.

Hi, I used to get that fluttering feeling which also sometimes sounded like a generator in my ears. This was long before I stated on thyroxine, but once I had the correct dose I've never had it since. I take 100mg per day.

It could also be that your lymph glands in the neck need draining. You can do that yourself - just Google the subject; there are several You Tube demonstrations.

If you get really loud crackling like someone crunching paper, with the odd pop, that is an ear infection. I get them about once a year and have done since a child, and was the only reason I ever saw my GP. So maybe when I kept going back feeling worse and worse, it should not have taken 18 months to test my thryroid.
