I only had this issue for a short while, so really feel for you that it’s been an ongoing problem bubba. I managed to resolve my symptoms using Sterimar nasal spray. I also find this useful to alleviate hay fever in the summer months.
I get a pain that starts in my neck and extends up to my ear. When I don’t take enough Thyroid. (NDT). It’s normally only on one side - can be left or right. Fixed within 30 min of taking 30mg of NDT.
Hi, I have an ongoing problem with my ears. I use a nasal spray (Flixonase) which my Doctor prescribes, but you can buy the same one at the Chemist under the name of Pirinase. I use it every day, not just in hay fever season. When I squirt it up my nose I immediately put my head on the side to help it reach my ears for a few minutes, then do the same the other side. I think this reaches your ears better than inhaling, I didn't have much luck with that.
Hi Jaybrooke, thank you for reply. Gp's are useless and just do not understand Thyroid Disease at all, even Neurologist are not very knowledgeable.
Yes I do get Jaw and teriible neck pain, also lots of body parathesia. I have had an Ultra sound which has revealed a growth, so I'm having further tests done. I also hve a lesion in my spine which I've recently had a MRI scan done, so again waiting for results. That's all one does these days is wait, wait, wait!
I lost faith in doctors and endocrinologists years ago I got very little help from them , when I would describe my symptoms they would say no that’s nothing to do with your thyroid, how wrong they all were. I became ill in 1995 , fine and normal on the Tuesday awoke on the Wednesday feeling I’d been hit by a truck, pains in joints and muscles, numbness and pins and needles from head to toe, dizziness , foggy brain, inner tremors, thudding heart palpitations, sore throat area, jaw and ear, difficulty swallowing, dreadful fatigue , I was given no thyroid meds suffered for nearly five years before I went private and was prescribed thyroxine which did help to a degree lessened some symptoms but still felt so poorly . I now self medicate I take thyrogold similar to armour NDT , amazing the difference it made to my life most symptoms disappeared or eased . Best wishes jay
