Addled brain - cannot do one of these - tried instructions I was given before but getting nowhere, any suggestions folk keep it simple I hate these machines!!

Click the down arrow next to your name on the top bar.

Click on messages.

To send a message click ‘Compose’. In order to add people to the message you need to start typing the member’s name in the box under ‘Send to’. You will then get a drop down list, where you can pick the member that you need or continue to type the full name and then press enter.

You can now type your message in the box provided and click ‘Send message’.

I just ''click'' onto the name or logo [ top left of post ] and the persons profile comes up , and then click on to message ...... compose and then go to the send bar --- easy peasy for a techno idiot like me [ and im damn proud of being one .... what ever happened to a pencil & paper...] .....hope this helps you as much as it did for me .....alan

Well Alan if you can master it then there is a little hope for me - pencil and paper? why they are old hat these days but not for me. Here is a thought - what would folk do if all the techno stuff were to disappear, I could still get by with a pinch but then how would I have learnt all that I have but for this techno - quite a conundrum. Managed to get there with help from another user and have copied it for future use. Thank you for replying.
