Hi. I'm new to here, I'm currently being tested for hyperparathyroidism. My dr has confirmed that I have Hypercaliumia but I'm struggling with day to day things. I suffer with muscle aches, weakness (struggle with walking) , bones hurt, severe spasms, chronic fatigue , memory and speech problems. I'm currently off work but I think that I'll be let go soon.
Sorry I'm just so lost. Don't know which way to turn

Hi Welshiegirl. Welcome. Sorry to hear you're having a rough time. Has doc done any other tests? If so, if you post folk can comment / advise. Has doc checked iron, B12, ferritin, vit D?
How long have you been off work? I thought you had to be off 6 months before they can start getting rid of you, but I'm sure someone here will correct me if I'm wrong. Also may depend on your work contract, so suggest you check that, and contact a union to support you. Employers tend to listen better when you have a third party involved.
If you are struggling with walking, and every day activities, and GP can not cure, then you can ask social services for a disability assessment by an Occupational Therapist, to see if they can provide /suggest things which may help you at home.
