Wow, that's impressive! Don't think I've seen an antibody result that high before. Sure the decimal point's in the right place? Usually goes up to 1300 (and no higher)

I would humbly suggest much of the inflammation is in your thyroid. What else hurts?

in reply to Jazzw

Jazzw its correct,,, 1300.0 throat, stiff back, erm tingling, its the bloody tingling atm ... but thats new... not had this tingling before... and i just feel so unwell... been having chest pain, under my left rib so going for a scan sat...so u have not seen it that high before? i should shhow the print out , i know its hard to believe!

Jazzw, 1300 and no higher? Where did you find that information?

My antibody levels after being hypothyroid for more than 20 years were over 1700. You would think after that long they would have burned themselves out, but not so.....

Sorry, should have explained what I meant - the top of some lab ranges for antibodies is 1300 (at least I think so - I'll check. - edited to add, yes, phew, remembered right!). Actual antibody count could easily be higher. As yours was!

Thyroid storm. Massive autoimmune system reaction. Your body is being a drama queen and thinks you're trying to kill it. Detox time for you.

Gluten dairy flouride are the most common irritants so give yourself 10 days off those and get another test.

A transient period of panic won't do you any serious harm but you should try to calm it down because long term it can be very tiresome.

Good luck

Redditch yes i am or have been extremely stressed...single mum , and finding a full time job b4 my tax creds end, and my ex partner had a huge stroke last year, had to use the motorways, omg i know it sounds daft, but was a stressful time, motorways scare me to death.. and i never missed a day off work,,,lived off coffee n didnt sleep for a month,, not good... but 4 years ago i was very poorly with a massive allergic reaction to my hair dye... ended up allergic to lots of things for a while.. i was on steroids for months...i am ok now..dont seem to have the allergies...but mayb i do! mayb they are mild... i dont know .stress is a killer...and i try not to stress over the shabby 2nd rate treatment i keep getting when i go to the docs.. the very people that are supposed to be helping me are, in fact, harming me greatly!

In nine years mine have never been <1000. I've cut out fluoride and gluten. No idea why they're still high! 🙁

martine, you've caused some confusion by typing 13 thousand (13000) in your first post and 13 hundred (1300) in the second. ;)

About ESR : labtestsonline.org.uk/under...

Have you had a CRP test as well? Was it okay?

labtestsonline.org.uk/under...

From that first link above, it seems ESR is tested when some form of rheumatism is suspected. From my own personal experience I found my muscle and joint pains reduced and almost vanished when I got my nutrient levels up to optimal, particularly vitamin D3.

I hope it suits you and helps in some way. If it doesn't the only answer is to give it up. This self-treating malarkey can be awfully expensive. :(

in reply to humanbean
