Providing everything is ok and one is receptive to NDT how long would it take to notice any improvement? If someone took 1 tablet at breakfast for the first time could they expect to notice positive changes that morning or does it take a few days to build up in the system? Thanks

Taking NDT
NDT contains T3. People differ in their sensitivity to T3. I don't think there is a general rule. I would have thought it wasn't impossible for you to notice the T3 almost immediately. On the other hand it could take a few weeks.
i think very few people feel better within hours of taking ndt. 1 grain contains 9mcg t3 which has a half life of 1 day, the 38mcg of t4 in it has a half life of 7 days and everything is dependant upon how well you absorb and convert.
i have been on ndt for nearly 2 months now, started on 0.5g and increased by 0.5g every 2 weeks so now on 2.5g and not seeing any difference at all :o( i'm going to get some bloods done including ft3 end of the month and review things.
from what i have read it is more likely to take weeks/months to know if this works for you. good luck.
I don't think you're ever going to feel anything if you take one tablet with breakfast. It should be taken on an empty stomach, with a large glass of water, and leave one hour at least before eating or drinking anything else other than water. You will not absorb it if you take it with food.
In any case, one tablet - presumably one grain - is a tiny weeny dose. You're probably going to need a few increases before you feel anything. It's hormone, not instant acting like aspirin.
