From t4 to t3

Explain to me please how properly to start t3. I was on t4 more than for 30 years. Now my dayly dose is 175mcg of levotyroxine. What is the best way to combine t3 and t4 and from what dose to start in my case. Thanks a lot for all your help.

olgadimitri Test results for FT4 and FT3 (taken at the same time) with reference ranges would be needed for suggestions on how to add in T3 and adjust your Levo. If you can provide those then members can help.

I was on the same dose of Levo as you when I started adding T3, but I knew my results and what my conversion was like, so I can't make any suggestions without those test results.

I was taking 175 mg of levo. Had TT several years ago. I dropped it to 150 mg and added 10 mg of T3. Haven`t had to change it, been 2 1/2 years now. I take first thing in the morning then wait one hr to eat or have coffee. Then take my other meds, works for me.
