Hi, I've been on levothyroxine for about 3 weeks now, low dosage, and no problems except I am breaking out I. Itchy spots on my chin and forehead , would it be anything to do with the medication do you think 🤔

Hi I'm also getting this. I was diagnosed with thyroiditis in February and have got my levo correct at 75mcg. I've had further tests by my endo and it looks like I have lupus which my symptoms back up also. I'm waiting to see a rheumatologist. I assumed it was the lupus until I saw your post. Mine comes out the day after I have been in the garden or sat in the sun. So I'm wearing high sun factor which can help. It quite painful and itchy but does go after 3-7 days. Do you know what triggers it? Have you had further tests done yet or seeing an Endo?
No I was only diagnosed recently, given blood form to take in after six weeks and then told she would post a revised prescription if necessary.. Ridulous until I came on here didn't even know what readings meant so I will certainly make appt to see her then.. I am going to cut out chicolate and sweet things to see if that helps.. It's not so much itchy but I need to dig my finger nail in till it hurts my chin.. I have had outbreaks before thyroid trouble as discovered and I think I have had thyroid problem without knowing it for years Thanks for your reply missFG
