Natural desiccated thyroid

I have a private doc who is keen to get me to move onto NDT meds and I'm keen now too after trying thyroxine for a year without feeling as good as I should. Anyone recommend which is the best brand of NDT? thanks

It's the one which relieves your symptoms. NatureThroid and WP both by RLC Labs are popular on the forum. Armour is the most well known and the most expensive brand, not necessarily the best.

Because no one brand or type of medication suits everyone and being the most well known brand or the most expensive brand doesn't change that.

Whichever you choose DON'T do a direct swap, start on a low dose and build up over a few weeks.

I take Naturethroid and it works for me, but I think it's more about which one suits you.

Agree with the others, it's what floats your boat as everyone is a bit different but I started with naturethroid and am still taking it as it's great for me
