I haven't been here for a while. I am trying to fix my T4/T3 problem by combining Novothyral with more liothytironin. And as triyotex is the only one I have, I open the capsule and take a little of the microspheres per day. Now I made a mistake (was thinking of something else) and tool the whole capsule at once! My daily dose is 75mcg T4/about 25mcg T3, divided in two parts. Today I took 50mcg t4/ 10mcg t3 in the morning and was supposed to take the rest now, but by mistake I took the whole capsule at once. I am worried I get too strong symptoms of Overmedicatin. Should I worry? Should I take some antidote? . I drank some milk. Thank you. Miriam

Hi mirriam, You might have a small reaction but when I took Triyotex, I was only taking one/third of the capsule but found it very weak and took 3/4. I still didn't feel the difference. How on earth do you try to get 10 mcgs out of it? Soy milk or raw cabbage might counteract an overdose but I doubt it will be a problem. I would wait before taking any more hormone though.
I've been taking 75mcgs of Triyotex, all at once, in the morning and I was absolutely fine. Because the effects of T3 are so short lived, any signs of over-stimulation should be fairly short-lived. Hopefully, the milk will have slowed down the absorption rate too.
Thank you very much for your answers. You were all right. I noticed no effect at all. I am even wondering if triyotex is a just a a placebo. I think even after taking milk, oat bran and raw cabbage (thank you Heloise!) with juice to prevent immediate absorption, I should have noticed an effect, after all I took by mistake about 5X my usual dosis! I think I'll try to have a blood test with and without triyotex and see the difference. I'll tell you. Thanks again.
