Thyroglossal cyst - ??

Hi, i've been mega stressed and run down with a virus lately along with attempting to switch to NDT in the last few weeks (you may have seen my desperate plea's on here recently!) i stopped taking any thyroid medication after struggling with NDT and i started to feel better - however i found a lump just on my adams apple on saturday which my dr suspects its a thyroglossal cyst which has come up from inflammation in the thyroid. Has anyone had anything simular? My throat feels really tight and sore most of the time now and so i've started levothyroxine again in the hope it settles down.
