Perhaps the whole population would really benefit from being 100% gluten free.

Quite amazing that even epilepsy has a gluten connection

I have just discovered after 23 years of severe illness, (ever since Hashimoto's diagnosis and being started on Levo) .....that yep I have gluten intolerance. (Silent coeliacs probably - waiting official diagnosis)

Had one basic gluten test on NHS 20 years ago... Negative result ....so it was never considered a possibility again ......or even suggested by any medic that I should even try going gluten free.

It was through help on here that I did full thyroid testing....revealed low vitamin D and then subsequent intolerance to vitamin d supplementing, due to very low magnesium, set me thinking.

So even though I never had any gluten symptoms, an excellent and varied diet, I had very poor absorption of nutrients .....ie gluten issue.

Going gluten free has been a revelation
