Just had my latest results. I have been diagnosed with Hasimoto's and have been taking Levothyroxine (100mg) for 4 months. Any comments on the results would be appreciated:
31 March 2016 26 Nov 2015
T4L 20,5 9,9
TSH 0,03 9,81
Thanks

Yes maybe a bit restless, trouble sleeping. I have an appointment with the endocrinologist on Mon so I will mention that. Thank you
But they haven't tested the FT3 so it's hard to say much. How do you feel?
You may have less trouble sleeping it you take a slightly lower dose. You can easily test this theory by not taking any Levothyroxine for 2-3 days. If things improve then restart your Levothyroxine but take less - some people end up taking 75mcg and 100mcg alternately for example. You have to find a dose that suits you, but bear in mind that Levothyroxine builds up in the bloodstream over a period of 4-6 weeks, so any changes will take a while to work.
Do you have a range for that FT4?
I agree with Brubru, you really need an FT3 to know what's going on.
