Hello there fellow sufferers, does anyone suffer with a constant vibration type pins and needley sensation which does not go away seems to be worse in legs but quite aware of it in the whole of my body.... and then there is the Tinnitus.... sounds like a blimmin noisy tumble dryer droning away in my head far worse at night when trying, yes trying to get to sleep cannot remember when I had what I call a restful full sleep, can anyone else resonate with this and what do you take or do? incidently I take VitD, B12 and a good multivitamin which seems to have everything in it.
annoying constant symptoms?: Hello there fellow... - Thyroid UK
annoying constant symptoms?
darb,
I have suffered body internal vibration and tinnitus before adding T3 to (already medicated) T4. Both symptoms return when thyroid hormones are low or I get very tired or stressed.
I have always thought the vibrations are adrenal related. As time goes on these horrid symptoms reoccur less frequently and less intense.
If you post any recent thyroid hormones blood test results complete with ranges (numbers in brackets) members will comment. Also any iron or nutrient results.

I do
I describe it as having a mobile phone in my body, and it is currently driving me mad. I notice it more when I sit still or try to sleep, but it's there all the time. My recent thyroid blood test results were diabolical though, and I am 3 weeks into an increase of medication. I assumed that these horrible sensations are because I was very under-medicated, and hope that they ease.
I get B12 injections, and feel worse (with lots of symptoms) before my next jab is due. I am on prescribed vitamin D, but recent blood tests showed that I am deficient in that yet again, so maybe it's connected to that (I get deep pain in my limbs too). I take lots of other supplements (via a private nutritionist), as I struggle to absorb any nutrients and test deficient in lots of other things. To be honest, I sometimes struggle to know which symptoms belong to which problem.
I was also recommended to take magnesium, so throw Epsom Salts in my bath.
I get mild tinnitus, but it isn't too much of a problem for me.
Yes I have had what I describe as inner tremors through my whole body , relentless , never ending , it's like an electric current buzzing away but with out the buzzing noise lol . These tremors started the same day all my other symptoms began quite out of the blue woke up and felt I had been hit by a truck ! All the usual diagnosis from the gp s doctors endos , nothing wrong with thyroid , ' you're imagining things , it's all in your head there's nothing wrong with you, you have anxiety , you're just depressed!! Eventually ( 5 years later) was given thyroxine and amazing within a few weeks most of my symptoms disappeared or eased but the inner tremors stayed with the pounding heart and noise in my ears , it has taken me self medicating last year with thyrogold ( dr john Lowe ) to at last have no tremors pounding heart and ear noise , phew!!!!
