Hi everyone

Has any body heard of the Sirt diet i was thinking of trying it until i noticed that the diet has a lot of soy products in and involves drinking copious amounts of green tea.

Do Hypo people have to avoid soy completely and is green tea okay, any comments appreciated.

Dotti, unfermented soy is very bad for the thyroid and not good for the rest of the body.

There is little evidence of benefit to humans and not much more for plants .

i was not told to get off soy. I use mostly organic and very little, like once or twice monthly.

Hello dotti, I tried the sort diet and I lost 3 kg. But I am not sure about keep going with this diet since I have hypothyroidism (Levothyrox 100µg) and this diet have a lot of kale/cabbage, which are not recommended when you have such a condition.

I hope someone can shed some light on this matter.
