Bone like protrusion below the tail bone

There is a painful hard bone like protrusion inside the right buttock cheek of my wife. As it is painful, she is not able to sit for long, stand or walk for long. When felt, it looks like a playing marble. And in her job, she is always on the computer. What is this condition of hers? Kindly advise.

It sounds like something that needs to get checked out by a doctor

Just a suggestion. It could well be a bone spur, but it would be sensible to get it checked out by GP.

I have one that can be felt on side of throat, it's is coming all the way from top of spine,so they can be quite long, it was scanned too be sure that's what it was,so good idea to check imho.

To my knowledge, there is no bone in the buttock cheek....could it be a benign lipoma? I have several on my back and one on my outside thigh. Hope the GP knows what it is.

100% get it checked by a doctor. Fingers crossed it could be something really manageable like a cyst. The sooner you know the better. All the best to you both. X
