Hi all, jus was wondering if someone could just tell me what they think of my blood tests. I have multi modular goitre which is definitively getting a lot bigger, the usual horrible symptoms ie tiredness low mood etc and getting no answers at all from anyone, consultant wants me to have radio active iodine but I'm not keen at all. Thanks in advance everyone t4 is 18.5 (12-22) and tsh is 0.19 (0.3-4.5)

Berniboo, TSH and FT4 are euthyroid. If you are not on anti-thyroid drugs you aren't hyperthyroid so I'm not sure why RAI is suggested. Has your endocrinologist said that RAI will reduce the multinodular goitre?

Ask your GP to test ferritin, vitamin D, B12 and folate. Low/deficient levels are common in thyroid patients and can cause musculoskeletal pain, fatigue and low mood.

Thanks clutter, yes it's to reduce the goitre. Just to be honest I see my consultant once per year and it's the same thing, check it over, if you change your mind about rao let me know, blood test, see you in a year. So annoying coz the fatigue etc awful.

Just got my ferritin result back yesterday it's 4.9

Berniboo, If ferritin 4.9 is below range you are probably iron anaemic which will be why you are fatigued. Your GP should be treating you with iron tablets or considering an iron infusion.
