Scaley red skin patches mainly on legs

I've noticed this morning small scaley red patches on my skin! I'm a bad hypercondriact and worry! I've got hyperthyroidism and have been on 2g for about 2 months 2 days ago this was upped to 40mg

Probably not the correct thing to say to a hyperchondriac but it could be pre tibial myexodema. It goes hand in hand with thyroid problems, usually with Graves. Just google for more pics so you can compare.

Treatment is usually with a steroid cream.... Might be worth you trying a hydrocortisone cream.

Are you really a hyperchondriac or do you have a lot of unresolved problems caused by thyroid? Quite a lot of us have been in that boat, with so manytrips to the doctors we start to doubt ourselves.

Hi thanks for your reply, I've had a look at the pictures and it's not really similar to what I have got, no I'm really a hypercondriact I worry about lituarlly everything and stuff that's not related to my thyroid, since I was 18 now 22 I've suffered with what I thought was swollen glands in my neck the dr said they wasn't big enough to be serious but bloods and ultra sound was ordered both fine that was 2 years ago! I stopped worrying for a good couple of months as I was pregnant and didn't really think about my lumps my little boy in now 11months old and I'm convinced I've found more lumps in my neck I went back to the dr and she said she could feel them but the was only small and said if they was anything they would be growing I just worry about leaving my little boy and my thyroid doesn't make the anexity any better! X
