Clonidine for hot flushes

Has anyone used clonidine for hot flushes?

Hi Toby,

I use a bio-identical HRT called Angelique.

My friend's sister is a gynae, & said this is one of the safest.

I take it in the evening as it seems to be less effective when I took it close to my NDT.

Many thanks for your reply.

I actually don't want to take HRT because of blood clot problems in the family so need an alternative, hence the clonidine.

I just wondered if there was any problems with being on thyroxine & medication for sjogrens.

Any info would be helpful. x

Have you asked your pharmacist & GP, or looked your meds up on Google?
