T3 prescription

Hi all don't know if you remember me going on t3 end of 2015 it helped the fatigue! It was through my phych doc, gps want to stop it not happy to support it, fortunately my phych doc is going to continue supply of the meds thank god , it's disgusting when ones symptoms have at last improved !!

Thank God right enough for your psychiatrist. At least they have the gumption to keep treating the patient who is getting on fine with it. It is scandalous the way doctors do not put patients health first. I think they think that it is 'fashionable' to want to try some T3 either added to levo or T3 only.

Shaws admin I certainly would he has been great listened to the videos off u tube John Lowe as well as studied it more, because I have bipolar disorder as well as hypo, &t3 can be given for depression he can prescribe, he said it would be down to cost but in long run would save them if it improved my overall health!!i still have ongoing headaches but the fatigue has lessened , I have pain issues some have resolved, got spondylitis etc so it's not going to improve, I help myself diet wise etc ! Thanks for support on here too!!

I'm glad he prescribes T3 and other hypothyroid patients get prescribed anti-d's instead of T3 - it just doesn't make sense to me that Endos take no notice of the T3 or FT3 or clinical symptoms only the TSH.

Yes he brilliant phych doc I be lost without him he listens ! Endo blamed symptoms on my mental health !!! Refused to see me for re referral said levels fine on right meds t4 , so pleased I have support from other sources gp listens to endo thinks they know best??? It's a joke!!!
