Hi I Av just had my iron level results which are 12.? Jus below range but ok? My b12 is ok and gona get vit d blood done

I don't know about iron and someone will be along who is knowledgeable.

Re your B12 blood test if o.k. still get a print-out with the ranges. The top range by the NHS might be a little on the low side.

What was your so called OK B12 result ? Needs to be around 1000 to prevent cognitive decline and above 500 to prevent neurological issues. So pretty serious if low.

Thanx for reply. I need to get my ranges dont i. I noticed that two of my indicator lines wete low out of 5 sets of readings.

With B12, doesn't matter what the range is, the result should be around 1000.

What sort of iron? If that was ferritin, it needs to be about 50% of the way up the range. A ferritin level of 12 is really, really bad.
