Kathryn-R, avoid all forms of unfermented soy which is very thyroid unfriendly. Google "goitrogens" for foods which can upset thyroid. I don't suggest you exclude all goitrogens, just the ones you identify as being irritants. There may be none which upset you.
if you have autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's), 100% gluten-free diet is worth trying as it can reduce flare ups and antibodies. Some members without Hashimoto's have found gluten-free improves digestion and reduces bloating, gas, and constipation/diarrhoea.
