Well your doctor will prescribe for you should need it, have you been tested for malfunction of your thyroid.?? a glucose fasting test needs to be done to prove you need it ...so why do you need a private doctor to prescribe it.

Not certain, but different health authorities may have differing GP allowances on their systems. My GP cannot prescribe T3 (Cheshire).

What is the purpose of a glucose fasting test. I've never heard of that.

You don't need a glucose fasting test to prove thyroid malfunction, you need thyroid tests

you are right ....blood test should tell it is a tricky subject...if yo can read a book by Diana Holes available from Amazon ...

.I met her when her book cam out how she was misdiagnosed for years ....you will find it helpful ..

You'll have to check with their offices whether they will prescribe T3.
