On December 1st, 2015, the world will experience its fourth annual #GivingTuesday.

What is #GivingTuesday?

#GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a global day of giving back and doing good for others. In its three years, it has proven to be a real and sustainable fundraising tool. #GivingTuesday is coming to the UK for the first time this year.

I’m very excited to inform you that Thyroid UK will be participating in the UK's first ever #GivingTuesday!

We have a goal of raising £5,000 and we really hope you’ll be a part of helping us reach that goal! All of the donations received will go towards essential computer equipment and software.

Thanks Lyn. I hope members of this forum will be forthcoming - every little helps to swell the coffers and where would we all be with Thyroiduk.org.uk - I dread to think.

It would be good as well if members of the forum became members of Thyroiduk too at a cost of £20 per annum - as we get lots of up-to-date info as well as Harmony (issued quarterly) too. It allows Thyroiduk to exist as I'm sure the expenses to run it must be high.
