Strange

Could admin check my posts got a very strange post just few mins ago

If it was a Private Message to you - click the down arrow to the right of the message and you will see 'Report'. Press this and it will go directly to HU. If you copy and paste first and send it to one of the Admins then we can see what it said.

HU will take the appropriate action.

I got one too, and consequently went to bed in a state of confusion, thought my brain fog had taken over as I could taken in what it was trying to say. I will report it as it left me feeling worried and anxious that this forum was all a scam but couldn't understand to what end

Yea I got two I reported it was gona reply an say ... Go play with the buses or throw a rope up ... I was a bit scared cause it kept saying be careful who's watching you . Creep lol 😁

We have had a few people trying to cause problems with this forum. These people who post these things on forums like ours are mentally ill and their aim is to cause confusion/upset.

So always report them by pressing the report button and HU will deal.

You can copy the message and send to one of the Admins too, so we also have an idea what's going on.

Shaws, this is the message. I have reported it but you said to copy and paste to Admin, not sure how to do that so here it is:

So sorry you and others are receiving these mailicious and upsetting messages.

Admins are working hard in conjunction with HealthUnlocked to try to eradicate the problem.

HU should not allow PMs until a member has had a pre-determined level of activity on the main community forums. Not sure how many post/replies that would entail but it could prevent some nutter signing up just to abuse people.

Also, maybe not allow members to PM until they complete a profile of themselves.

I know these aren't watertight methods/solutions but they're better than what's in place now, which seems to be deleting the user after the abusive messages have been sent.

Just a couple of ideas off the top of my head so please don't shoot me down in flames!!

I also had a PM from this snipper me doodle, lol. I did think it strange but just ignored. Are they targeting new members? I've not long joined.

Any private messages which are suspicious - press the down arrow on the right-hand side and press report and it goes straight to HU. Copy and paste whatever you've received and send to one of the Admins, so we can also keep track as Private Messages cannot be accessed.
