Oh Lord - policemen have seemed young for years and now I remind my GP of her Mum.

Just to warn you all though not to be as stupid as me. Do not drink half a pint of black coffee and take some nutri thyroid just before seeing your GP, or she will take your blood pressure and start to become worried.

When I explained to her that I was just a blip, and that I wasn't worried about my high cholesterol because, frankly, the worst option scenario of dropping suddenly dead didn't seem like that bad an option in a life with the handbrake permanently on, she said I sounded exactly like her mother, and what her Mum and I had to remember was that we might not be so lucky, we might have a stroke instead.

Also that if I upped the dose of Levo I needed to tell her so she could interpret the results.

Think I will ask for her Mum's email. She's probably already on here secretly taking T3.
