Been hypo for 5 years and now also post menopause. Been taking a variety of natural supplements for gd while and felt gd until lately. Back to tossing and turning at night. Sore and achey joints and muscles. Even sweats are back with a vengeance. Still take my serenity cream but even that doesn't seem to be helping. Any advice?

Hypo and menopause
Twinkle1964, if you post recent thyroid results and ranges (figures in brackets after results) members will advise whether you are optimally medicated.
It may be an idea to ask your GP to test ferritin, vitamin D, B12 and folate. Low/deficient ferritin and vitD levels can cause musculoskeletal pain and low B12 and folate can cause night sweats.
Hi Clutter last results were TSH 3.6 (0.5 -5.0) FT4 19 (10-24)
Twinkle1964, You are undermedicated. The goal of Levothyroxine is to restore the patient to euthyroid status and for most this will be when TSH is around 1.0 with FT4 in the upper quadrant of range.
