Hi

I've been taking net for 8wks now and I've noticed my hair is comming out in quite a bit and is so thin.can anyone shed any light as to why this should be happening since starting nxt

Your hair loss is most likely down to a hormone inbalance or a nutrient deficiency.

You switched from thyroxine to NDT only a month ago but seemed unsure about dosages according to your previous posts.

Do you have thyroid hormone test results you can post complete with ranges (numbers in brackets) for members to comment.

There are a lot of NDT users on here who could give you much better advice with results.

Hair loss can be down to a number of causes but instead of guessing it is better to get to the cause by a process of elimination.

You will feel much better thy when you are dosed correctly.

I havnt got any results yet but due to have bloods done nxt month so I will get a copy of them then

I never had any hair loss til starting on NDT and then it started coming out in ever increasing amounts. It did not seem to help me in other ways so I have gone back to T3 only for now. If you find out a reason for the hair loss I would be interested to know. I have had hypo issues for years and have had my health and energy get very bad, but I never lost hair like I did on NDT. It has not stopped shedding yet but I have only just come off NDT. Hope yours stops shedding soon.
