Putting the baked buns in the tin, then putting them back into the baking tray...

Putting the baked buns in the tin, then putting them back into the baking tray...
Gonna be one of those days
I hate those days Once I was making peanut butter cookies and of course I forgot to add the peanut butter. I saw it in the fridge and figured I have added it already.
Oven was ready I put the cookies in and realised I did not add peanut butter. Waited for the bell to ring to see if the cookies would fail. When I took cookies out of the oven I realised oven was not on
Turned oven on, put cookies back in a bowl mixed with peanut butter and managed to bake perfect cookies.
Was scary to realise how bad brain fog can be ,but was funny also....
Usually I just forget stove on after cooking but with induction stove it does not matter as it turns off itself. Before that with normal stove it was more dangerous
Hehe, my worst is looking on the Internet. In the time it takes to load a page I forget what it was, and when it pops up I can't remember why I wanted to go there.
For me it's driving to a customers house then forgetting how to get there oops!! Not been THAT bad for a while tho, thyroid meds finally getting there for me
My worst fog day recently was my last visit to the endo. I could not believe how bad it was and found myself say left, left, right, right. lights, lights in case I just drove on to anywhere!! By the time we consulted I just nodded meekly.
I found stressing over it made it worse!
Good luck with progress.
I have noticed that if I get stressed my hypo symptoms get worse
I almost feel like I'm having a hyper attack ... I wonder if this is related to being Hashis tho
I get this too Jan. Well, I get like a sort of instant sensation of rushing, a bit jittery and muscles clenching followed by feeling totally fagged out after a burst of stress..good or bad. So, yeah a bit like hyper but I think it might be something to do with the fact we do not deal with cortisol and adrenaline surges -levels- requirements as non Hypo. I have read about it...but forgotten again!
Prolonged stress like overexertion for a few days or a really big upset can knock me back to hypo proper. I do tend to boom and bust. I asked here and useful responses ranged from extra demand on serum t3 supplies that cannot be replaced in the way our our own thyroids can, to reverse t3 issues, or pooling which, apparently, can happen during stress as a natural metabolic slowdown recovery mode. Different theories on how long reverse t3 lasts: from it sorts itself out naturally once the stressor has gone to others experiencing issues with it long term. All I know is that I can pop up or down the scale very quickly.
It would be so nice just to have a few days of feeling like a normal human being lol
