Yes I said skin its really sore to touch its a patch on back of my leg its really painful very like the pain you get with shingles fed up with it all now seen my ENT specialist for follow up after surgery last year and he agrees my thyroid is swollen but my gp needs to order any further tests

Amssmith, have you shown the sore patch to your GP? I think one can get shingles more than once.
There's no rash def not shingles it happens all the time sometimes my arm or my face iv even had it on my scalp it goes away after a day or two then will come back in a different area x
Well, you don't always get a rash with shingles. But I get that as you've had it before you probably do know the difference!
The moving around thing is interesting though. Skin sensitivity that moves from place to place is one of the symptoms of fibromyalgia. Depending on your viewpoint on fibromyalgia, that makes it quite possible it is related to thyroid problems, and a lack of T3 in particular.
