Hello, I am taking Levothyroxine for my hypothyroidism, does anyone know if I can take Acidophilus tablets, particularly Holland and barret, 20 billion .

Yes you can. Take probiotics with water at bedtime (after 9pm is best). This is because the HCL is at its lowest at nighttime and the probiotics have a better chance of survival through the digestive tract, rather than being killed off by the stomach acid.

Hi, I take Levothyroxine (175mcg) and take Acidophilus that I bought from Holland and Barrett. I checked with the lady who served me and she said it is safe with Levothyroxine. I usually get told what I can and can't have when buying things from Holland and Barrett.
