Hi Donnamore

Make a note in your profile of your latest blood test results as members cannot go through your posts to look for them. I have found the latest ones in one of your posts:

My bloods r tsh 1.07. T4. 24 t3 3.3 the rages r tsh is 0.27. T4 12-22 t3 was 3.0-3.6. My antibodie is410.

Your TSH could be a bit lower but I don't know if GP will increase your levo. If you email louise.warvill@thyroiduk.org.uk and ask for a copy of Dr Toft's Pulse Article. Show it to your GP where it says that we can have a suppressed TSH or the addition of T3 if we still don't feel well.

Carpal Tunnel is a symptoms of hypo and this is a link:

I think you need an increase or the addition of some T3.

You definately aren't converting, Donna, according to those results. With a T3 that low, I'm not surprised you have symptoms!

So, you really must get your

Ferritin

Folate

Vit B12

Vit d3

tested, as RFU says. It could be that some of these are low and stopping you converting.

Your doctor may think your results are 'fine', but that's just her opinion, and she might change her mind if she had to live with them!

Thank you starting to feel like a hypochondriac never mind hypo :)

No, not a hypochondriac - my pain was so widespread after beginning levo I couldn't step onto a pavement nor raise arms to comb hair. I could only shuffle and was so stiff as if I had severe rheumatoid or something like it.

I'm fine now, no pain and feel good. I had to trial a few alternatives but even the addition of T3 relieved some.

That's awful . But at least I know I don't imagine all of this thanks again

Donna, You're not a hypochondriac. The problem is your doctor who doesn't know, or acknowledge, that low T3 causes hypothyroid symptoms.

I have really bad carpal tunnel problems, my whole hand goes numb, it may have initially been caused by hypo but now its most definitely work related. A wrist brace helps.
