I was wondering if anyone could PM me with the details of a doctor ( private or otherwise) based in scotland who believes in NDT. I've been on Levo and its failed to restore me to good health and I feel pretty desperate. Supplements have helped but I just want to feel well.
Many thanks

Email louise.warvill@thyroiduk.org.uk for a list of endos recommended by members. You should check before booking whether the endo prescribes NDT.
It's rarely available on the NHS as NDT isn't licensed for use in the UK and most doctors won't take the professional risk of prescribing it. Most members using NDT buy their own on the internet and self medicate.
Tealtension, I hope someone will PM you with a recommendation closer to home.
Good luck with the pregnancy. Make sure your TSH is in the low-normal range 0.4-2.0 and your Levothyroxine should be increased by 25-50mcg when pregnancy is confirmed.
