Hi I don't know alot about this and all my Dr's have said is go to a website and look it up just got shoved on some tablets and told to have blood test . I feel worse on them then I did before having head aches I have never suffered with

Most docs tell people NOT to look things up online!

Please can you post the thyroid blood results (including the reference ranges) which led to you being diagnosed.

How long have you been on the tablets? Are they levothyroxine?

Welcome to our forum and sorry to hear you are unwell.

As Louise has already advised it is difficult to comment without knowing your test results complete with ranges (numbers in brackets) and what meds and dosage you are taking.

If you are taking thyroid hormone replacement, then they can take up to 6 weeks to fully saturate the body and may well need dose adjustments after those 6 weeks.

People often feel worse before becoming better and symptoms can lag behind good biochemistry by 6-8 weeks.
