Hey guys , got my second tsh levels back , it's at 3.6 and free t4 is at 12 . Still waiting in the anti bodies though. I'm so confused at these results because I'm so exhausted all the time as well as all the other symptoms !!! Going to speak to the Docter this week sometime if I can get an apointment .

Carol-g, It helps members to advise and interpret results if you can include the lab ref ranges (the figures in brackets after your results).

The receptionist didn't give me them ? I only asked what the levels were . Will get them when I see my Docter , but I don't really understand them .

Carol the ranges indicate whether your results are high or low, good or bad.

TSH 3.6 is high enough for you to be symptomatic but not usually high enough for treatment. In a range 0.35-5.0 your TSH would usually have to be > 5.0 before getting a diagnosis and treatment or your FT4 would have to be below range.

FT4 12 would be considered low in a range 12-22 but good (high enough) in a range 7-14.
