Hello everyone. I have been on prescribed Erfa for some 8 years now. Slowly increasing dosage currently taking 180mg in the am, and 30mg at lunchtime. For the last 2 months I have been experiencing muscle pain and weakness and increasing fatigue. Anyone out there aware that this may be a symptom of under medicating please?

Aprilthorn, musculoskeletal pain, weakness and fatigue can be signs of under and overmedication and can also be due to low ferritin, vitamin D, B12 and folate which is common in hypothyroid patients.

When did you last have a thyroid blood test?

I don't want to put a spanner in the works but I've read that some users of Erfa have been reporting problems.

Maybe ask if doctor will let you switch to Armour or Nature-Throid on a trial to see if that makes a difference.
