I've had a thyroid problem (hypothyroid) for 25 years. I started out on synthetic thyroid meds, until I found a wonderful doctor who listened to me, not my test results and switched the prescription to Armour (2.5 grains). Within a couple of weeks, the results were amazing...more energy, arms did not ache, and weight melted off! Fast forward 10 years...
My wonderful doctor retired.😣 My new doctor believed it was too high of a dose, so she reduced it to 2 grains, against my wishes..:back to square one!
I found yet another doctor who agreed to switch my prescription to Naturethyroid (2 grains). I have been on it for about a month without any relief from my symptoms. Time to take matters into my own hands!!
Why not just go back to the original dose of Armour in two and a half grains? That is obviously worked well for you for all those years, before your interfering doctor intervened.
You don't say what country you are in. That makes a difference to where (or even if) you can purchase prescription medications online.

The worst thing doctors can do is adjust our doses of thyroid hormones only due to the TSH result. It can really mess up our metabolism as it did to yours.
I would take the dose you had before and hopefully it will work again.
