Does anyone know if there is an alternative to levithyroxine for an underactive thyroid please?
My doctor said there wasn't, but she was happy to be proven wrong.

I am very happy to prove her wrong. The problem is that's what they have been instructed, i.e. levothyroxine alone is to be prescribed. Liothyronine can be prescribed, i.e. T3.
