Thank u for posting, Ive found my Endo doc isnt interested in any of this, sadly. With both sets of thyroids gone Im having more problems then I know how to deal with. Now its caused, Severe Vit. Deficiencies, Osteoporosis, Addison's disease, bad heart value, Cant walk anymore, drive and I stay weakened and cant function. My endo doc makes excuses and only gives me Synthroid which took two yrs to get because he wanted me on Levothyroxine and stayed in Hypothyroid mode with bad levels. Finally I have the synthroid and it keeps my THS levels in an ok level, but never cks my T3 and wont talk about it. Needless to say Im looking for new doc and all the info I can find, so Thank u very much for this informative post. Blessings

Hi TWolfe I am so sorry to read of your predicament. I hope you find a better physician fast and can get some T3. I self medicate on ThyroidS and have felt much better on it than Levothyroxine I presume because of the T3 in it. Good luck in your quest!
