Does anyone buy the Nature Thyroid if so where from please Im currently on Levothyroxine 200mg and have been for 17 years and feel rubbish I'm so tired and achey the whole time its like having flu everyday of your life so i want to try and buy it as I cant get it on prescription.

Have you got your latest thyroid bloods, including the ranges please?

Have you had your B12, iron, Ferritin, Vitamin D tested?

Do you take your levo with water only, 30 mins to one hour before food and nowhere near calcium and/or iron supplements?

Hello Louise, I am 13 years post TT (papilliary cancer) and have had all sorts of problems with dosage over the years including too high a dose which resulted in having a hip replacement, (calcium probs). When it's too low, cholestrol shoots up and many other things inbetween. My endo is nice but the appointment is always being put back so often I dont see him for getting on for 2 years. Would you be able to let me have names of good endos in London area, Herts or Buckinghamshire. I dont really wish to take levo for the rest of my life because I have had various difficulties which I attribute to lev. I would like to explore having a natural thyroid hormone replacement instead, however my present endo would have nothing to do with me if I went down that road. Many thanks for your kind help. Thank you for reply I have been to see a different endocrinologist private wh has asked my GP to run sone bloods as he didnt think enough had been done he has mentioned adding T3 for my thyroxine so I'll post the results when I have them.

Louise is right - best to check out whether it's simply that you aren't on enough Levo first, or whether you are deficient in Vits and minerals ( more important than you'd think!)
