Hi I'm taking a tablet about 8 am but I've found I'm seriously flagging about 5 pm .. I took another half about 5 pm yest ....is there a time limit between each dose to adhere to or is it safe at any time you start to feel the sluggish feeling coming on?

I would just up your dose and take once per day. Some people prefer to take several doses of T3 but you are taking NDT which, like levothyroxine, is usually once a day.

Me too! And before I have my NatureThroid in the morning I feel very headachey. I guess that's normal too?

T4 is long acting, but T3 falls hour by hour until your next dose. Many people take NDT multiple times per day. I know someone who takes it hourly, about 1/4 grain at a time. That's a little too OCD for me, but 2, 3, or 4x/day is pretty common.

Les, split dosing NDT suits some people better than one daily dose. Try taking your second dose 1-2 hours before the slump starts.
