... and so many helpful suggestions to keep you busy, it can get confusing sometimes.
I never cease to be amazed at members' help. J
First steps first. Get your blood test results, with the ranges. If it's been too long ago, or you've never had one, get the Full Thyroid Function test plus B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate. Post and members will comment.
We will all do our best to assist you where possible. Hypothyroidism can also develop by several causes, i.e. certain types of medication, glandular fever, whiplash, by stress or accident.
I wasn't diagnosed by the medical profession, despite clinical symptoms and knew nothing about the thyroid gland, expecting doctors to tell me what was wrong but they didn't, despite being kept in overnight in hospital and several visits to A&E.
Finally, a first aider pointed the way and am fine now.

It's a long journey for us all I think, especially when you have drs that no nothing about thyroid ... Like others have said get your thyroid bloods done T3 T4 ... B12 iron ferritin a copy of every result if you can it helps ... Good luck hope you feel better soon
