Can hypothyroidism have any side effects for ureter and bladder cancer, I was diagnosed with hypo soon after a tumor in ureter was removed.?

I keep getting blood on urine and I have been to my doctor.who has left me on terrible pain with this ingection until my urine test results come back from lab,.I feel soo ill .

Why hasn't he sent you to a specialist. Can you not see the department who did your op? It sounds very painful (his treatment). Hypothyroidism affects our whole body and sometimes remains undiagnosed until other problems arise. I cannot say if your cancer etc was caused by this but obviously it wont be helpful.

Is your hypothyroidism being treated properly?

Have you had recent blood test? If so post with the ranges.

I think your priority is to be referred or go to the A&E today if you're in so much pain. You need to be seen by someone who knows best how to treat you.

Thankyou, I am waiting for my husband yo take me to a n e in Burton on trent hospital,. I am in agony been like this since Tuesday night, I ask to speak to the doctor st surgery and she wouldn't speak to me until the end of surgery, he receptionist then informed me if my results were not back she would not have anything more to add !!!!.hence time to go where I will get help, never ever known anything like this, my previous doctor took me to the hospital himself when I first was ill and they operated the same day, he saved my life, what a difference. X

It sounds quite horrific to me. You must be so worried and to be subjected to such treatment by a doctor makes me speechless. To be in such pain since Tuesday is more than unbelievable. Am glad you're going to A&E.

I think some are just careerists and should be in some other profession. Maybe they think they project an image like the doctors we see on the TV. At least we know the TV is 'make-believe'. Imagine, getting more help from a forum than your own doctor.

You have to make a written complaint and hope all goes well this afternoon.
