is there a range for the antibodies test? ive just called the surgery for my result of my test that was taken on 17th nov (have seen gp since then but was unable to see what was on the computer) and the receptionist said reading for the Tgab was 412 is this considered extremely high?

Joyce, you can ring the hospital lab which tests your bloods to find out what the TgAb range is.

thanks clutter i believe they are done at the same hospital where i work.

The ranges vary hugely. For example some go up to thousands. Some labs "stop counting" once a sufficiently high number is reached (i.e. a number this is beyond all doubt positive). Some scale the raw numbers so that 0-99 is negative, 100 to 199 is uncertain and over 200+ is positive.
