I would like to do plenty of reading before I meet thyroid surgeon been referred to on Monday. I have Hashimoto's with euthyroid blood results and a 2.75 nodule although that is growing fast a affecting voice, swallowing and breathing. What books would you recommend and any pertinent questions I should ask?

The websites are excellent.... stopthethyroidmadness.com .... Also the website of Izabella Wentz and Dr Alexander Haskell. The latter wrote the book - Hope for Hashimotos and Izabella wrote - Hashimotos - The Root Cause.

Think that should give you enough information. I too had in range TFT's but lots of nodes and high anti-bodies so was diagnosed with Hashimotos.

Hope all goes well for you....

Hi Nick, I have to admit in all the reading about thyroid for many years, I haven't seen that much information about nodules or cysts on the thyroid. I have a tiny one myself but there a few people here who have had the biopsy. Perhaps you should post again requesting info regarding the surgery instead of a book and you may find out more that way.
